Директива 77/780/ЕЭС (директива Европейского экономического сообщества от 12 декабря 1977 г., выпущенная с целью гармонизации права стран ЕЭС вследствие развития нормотворческой деятельности ЕЭС; данная директива дала определение кредитного учреждения; это определение впоследствии повлияло на правовые системы различных стран-участниц ЕЭС; основной целью данного определения являлось создание системы контроля и лицензирования деятельности кредитных организаций в ЕЭС; директива оставила на усмотрение каждой страны вопрос о критериях, лежащих в основе лицензирования деятельности кредитных организаций; пути решения данного вопроса во внутреннем праве Великобритании были предложены законом "О банковской деятельности" от 1979 г.; директиву также называют Первой банковской директивой)Syn:See: -
